Thomas Fundebow. Thomas Fandaban is included on the list of officers and men who participated on the Confederacy’s maiden voyage from New London on 1 May 1779. Thomas Fundebow is noted on the list of officers and men from the records in the National Archives from the Confederacy’s final cruise. These records indicate he received a cash payment on 3 October 1780, prior to the ship’s embarkation from Philadelphia. It is likely he served on the Confederacy for her entire time in service. The claim of Thomas Fundebou for service as Cooper’s Mate on the Confederacy in the amount of $90.81 including interest to 14 April 1781, the date of her capture, was adjusted by the Treasury Department on 11 Feb 1794.
